  • Lining for belts / waist belts

    Hello everyone

What do you use for the backing of a belt?
Do you use interfacing? If so, what kind?

Thank you in advance for the info,
    greetings Steffie

I use a high quality 2mm cowhide and then skive a bevel on one side then glue on the outer leather/alligator. This way you don't need to add any interfacing or middle layer.

Vildona SH-1220 from Freudenberg is a good choice when you need to reinforce a belt. It comes in two colors black and white.

Hi everyone, just wondering , what is the alran goat? Is it the one of Hermes? Is it the one you Peter use for lining? Thank you!
